BÅSTAD VILLA – SWEDEN
We present to you an ambitious project that we created in Båstad, a town on the southern Swedish coast.
It is a clear example of Nordic bio-architecture, a deeply felt theme in Northern Europe whose principles we have shared for some time and founded our architecture and design studio.
The design was a complex path undertaken with the Swedish property to create a villa that had the architectural features of the place but with a strong propensity for contemporaneity and design.
In the project we left the utmost importance to wood on a structural level, following the particular inclinations of the roof, typical of the local architecture, opening many windows to give the house the important connection with the outside world and the exploitation of natural light, predominant theme for Scandinavian cultures.
The DNA of our project is the result of the union of the Swedish tradition, with minimal lines based on "less is more", with the use of precious natural materials and new technologies that guarantee living comfort and quality of life, what we call “lifestyle”.
The interiors of stylistic purity are the lifeblood of our intervention, created with awareness to embrace the needs of the owner and his stylistic and hospitality desires. Sharp straight lines are softened by pronounced curves, in a balance that offers emotions both indoors and outdoors.
The kitchen is an explosion of white light, with furnishings custom-designed with sartorial care, with curved and soft lines in white glossy lacquer but above all functional for daily use.
Great importance was given to lighting with an in-depth study with our lighting engineers to arrive at innovative proposals to enhance the architecture of the villa and the interior design.
The circular living room is the heart of the home, a central glass body, which communicates both with the outside but also with the upper floor through double height with circular view.
